Hi, My name is Nichole Shirey. I am so excited to be supporting student success here at Pepper Drive!
What does a school counselor do?
I work alongside teachers, administrators, and parents to help students develop socially and emotionally, and to help remove any barriers they have to learning!
I provide a variety of services to students including:
- Solution-focused individual counseling
- Student check-ins
- Goal-setting
- Small group counseling
- Class lessons
- Referrals to community partners that offer support on campus during the school day (Radys, Care Team, Screening 2 Care, Elizabeth Hospice: Grief Support)
